D1: Gun Raffle Updates

District 1 will not be having the annual gun raffle open to the public due to the pandemic Coronavirus, known a COVID-19. We will be still be drawing the tickets live at Edinboro Outdoors on Saturday April 4th starting at 4:00 pm. The drawing will be broadcast live through the Edinboro Outdoors Facebook page and we will try to link the broadcast to the PTA Facebook page. Please mail your tickets by March 28th, to our gun raffle chairperson Donna Murphy, her address is 980 State Street Conneaut lake, Pennsylvania 16316 .

PTA ELECTION
The Pennsylvania Trappers’ Association Inc. will hold an election during the State Rendezvous from June 26-29th, 2019, to fill the offices of President, Vice President-East, Vice President-West, Secretary, Treasurer, Editor, Public Relations Director, NTA Director and FTA Director. D1: Trapping School Buckets
Every year Pennsylvania Trappers Association District 1 purchases 5 gallon plastic buckets for the students that attend the trapping school.
This year we acquired 70 buckets through CJ Logging , for only a $2.00 donation per bucket.
The program is called Log A Load For Kids in which CJ Logging has raised $3,600.00 and 100% of the funds raised goes to Children’s Miracle Network. This is a win – win for everybody involved.

District 1 had 30 students at their youth trapping school on September 8th.
D1: Cattaraugus County Sportsmens Rendezvous
District 1, from August 10th – 12th crossed into New York to promote trapping and the Pennsylvania Trappers Association at the Cattaraugus County Sportsmens Rendezvous in Little Valley, New York. District 1 Director John W. Chase , Crawford County leader James Murphy and his wife Donna.
